Applications are now closed. Thank you to all who applied!

We’re on the look-out for talented emerging Australian creatives to contribute articles, essays, interviews, short stories, poetry, photography, illustrations, painting, ceramics, 3D graphics and more to our second issue: Stories of Healing.

Stories of Healing invites reflection on concepts around ‘health’ -  a particularly pertinent topic in this current chapter of global history. We are looking for multifaceted responses that coincide with our list of inspiration shared at the bottom of this page. 

All contributors will be paid for their work.

Applications close April 11th, 2021 at 11:59 AEST. Successful applicants will be notified by April 23rd. Final pieces will need to be completed by 23rd of May.

Soft Stir is an independent publication, examining culture, art, music and philosophies through the eyes of emerging Australian creatives. We champion reflection, experimentation and cross-disciplinary creative expression.
